July 27, 2016

Ok, I know I promised I would leave pom poms alone for a while… but what can I say, I am actually obsessed! I saw these River Island pom pom trainers and just had to have them – oops!

As I have said before, I am not usually a trainer kind of girl, but these pom pom topped beauties are different and I was immediately drawn to them. The pom poms remind me of cute bunny tails!

You can get your own from River Island for only £32, although be quick as they are limited edition. They are super comfy and come up slightly big size wise.

Have a fab Wednesday and I shall be back soon xx

High Five – Maxi Dresses

July 22, 2016

Happy Friday! How have you been enjoying our mini heatwave? I can’t lie, I am a typical Brit – I moan about the Summer when its raining, but then when the sun finally makes an appearance I moan about being too hot! Oops! It is lovely though of course to finally see a bit of Summer and means we can actually start wearing Summer clothes, because up to now I have hardly worn any!

A maxi dress is great in the Summer – they are floaty so keep you cool, they can be dressed up and down and they are perfect for hiding your white pasty legs if you have forgotten to fake tan, like I often do!

Anyway, here is today’s high five…

Pictures155

1 – Needle & Thread Satin dress – £87.50 from £175 – The Outnet

2 – Lace Trim dress – £69 – Topshop

3 – Polka Dot dress – £87 – Littlewoods

4 – Embellished dress – £60 – Topshop

5 – Bandeau dress – £20 – Next

I love this selection and could easily find an occasion for each! The bandeau one from Next would be great for my holiday to wear to the beach. For the evening I love the black Topshop one and the ivory satin one from The Outnet. Which is your favourite?

Check out more High Five posts too if you like. Have a fab Friday and I shall be back soon xx

Dr Ceuticals Hand Cream

July 21, 2016

I don’t know about you, but I am quite religious about moisturising my hands, as I am extremely paranoid about them ageing! It also just feels good too, to have nice soft hands.

I came across this Dr Ceuticals Super Repair Hand Cream by accident really. I had run out of hand cream and was in Boots (the only place that sells it) looking to pick up something more expensive if I am honest. I usually use hand creams such as – Clarins, Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Hand Cream or L’Occitane (all around £20). It was a hot day and all the counters were busy so I went to check out the hand cream aisle instead, so I could get out of there quick! Anyway, I saw this and liked the look/sound of it and thought I would live dangerously and give it a go!

This is what Dr Ceuticals say about it – “This advanced glycerine-based hand cream boosted with anti-ageing co-enzyme Q10 and a pro-collagen peptide helps to intensely moisturise and replenish lost moisture and suppleness to hands. Skin-conditioning Allantoin and antioxidant Acai combine to further boost repair and nourishment. Light and non greasy the cream sinks into skin quickly to leave hands dry-to-the-touch but restored.”

My verdict… I love it. I was very pleasantly surprised because usually my rush beauty buys end up with me not liking it, but not with this. Its not greasy and it sinks in quick – none of that clammy creamy hand thing going on! I use it at least twice a day and my hands definitely look and feel smoother and softer so I would 100% recommend it. Lovely smell too. I want to try their other products now!

Dr Ceuticals is exclusive to Boots and this hand cream is currently only £4.99 (usual price £9.99), so great time to stock up – click here to get yours. I have bought 2 spare ones already! I would love to know what you think if you have already tried it, or will be after this review – so please feel free to leave a comment below.

Have a good Thursday and I shall be back soon xx
