Wedding Wednesday – Vet Wedding with Kittens!

May 3, 2017

Happy Wedding Wednesday! I love a wedding and I am a crazy cat lady, so what better than a wedding with kittens – just purrfect!

This wedding took place in Colorado and the bride and groom, Michele and Nick, are both vets and cat lovers. The 2 gorgeous kittens are called Jeeves and Houdini and they live at a rescue centre where Michele and Nick volunteer in their spare time – Divine Feline in Denver, Colorado.

We thought of the idea to help promote our volunteer organisation by featuring some adorable adoptable kittens in our wedding photos” – it must have been great promotion for the rescue centre as the wedding has had coverage all over the world, which is great. I bet it didn’t take Jeeves and Houdini long to find their forever homes after these cute pics!

Just look at these fab photos – I LOVE the shoes…

How cute is this! I think all weddings should have kittens!

Have a wonderful Wedding Wednesday and I shall be back soon xx

Wedding Wednesday – Russian Wedding Favours

August 31, 2016

Happy Wedding Wednesday! As I am currently on holiday in Russia, I thought it only right to theme today’s Wedding Wednesday post accordingly – how fab is this…

Russian dolls are so cute and make a great wedding or party favour – great to place on top of the placecard, or perhaps make a little slit on the top of the doll to place the card in?

Wedding Wednesday – Bridal Bouquets

August 24, 2016

Happy Wedding Wednesday! When (not if!) I get married, I would 100% have a peony bouquet. It is my favourite flower and there is just something about a peony that makes me happy! They are usually available in the UK in June and July, so remember that when choosing your date. They can be imported at other times, it would just cost a lot more. Here are a few gorgeous examples of peony bouquets…

Of course not everyone loves peonies as much as I do and so for the rest of you, you have every other flower to choose from! Here are a few fab ideas…

So what do you think? Do you have a favourite flower you want to use for your bouquet, or are you just concentrating on colour and letting the florist choose the flowers? If you are not sure, talk to your florist and show her photos of flowers and examples that you like and dislike. Pinterest is a great way to save your pics for wedding planning.

Wedding Wednesday – Wheelbarrow Table Plan

July 20, 2016

Ivy Ellen

There is absolutely nothing wrong with a standard picture frame style table plan and a lot of people go with that. Some people do like to think outside the box however when it comes to these kinds of details, and so I wanted to show you this fab wheelbarrow table plan I came across recently – so cute!

There are so many alternative ways to put together your table plan – check out wedding blogs and Pinterest for ideas. I did a much more detailed blog post on table plan ideas a while back, so check that out too.

Have a good Wedding Wednesday and I shall be back soon xx
