Wedding Wednesday – Floral Archways

June 1, 2016

Happy Wedding Wednesday! In terms of the decoration side of a wedding, the one thing that makes it for me, is fabulous flowers – spend as much as you can afford on flowers because they always bring the wow factor. A floral archway for your ceremony is an ideal way of doing this and they can usually be relocated at your venue and perhaps used as a backdrop for your photobooth. Here are a few floral archways for inspiration…

They are all so beautiful! If your budget is a bit tight then you can still have an archway – just perhaps use more greenery and less flowers? Or get creative and use ladders like the pic above – there are so many options.

Wedding Wednesday – More Gypsophilia

May 18, 2016

I did a Wedding Wednesday blog post back in 2013 on Gypsophilia, or baby’s breath, (which you can see by clicking here) and it is still my post popular wedding post.

So with that in mind, I thought I would show you a few more ideas in terms of what you can do with Gypsophilia, as there is so much more to see and I know you love it.

Another good thing about Gypsophilia, as well as it looking fabulous, is that it is one of the easiest flowers to DIY. A florist is always going to be your best option, but if you are on a budget or want to add a few of your own touches then Gypsophilia could be the way to go. This wooden personalised vase below (from Not On The High Street) is cute and looks great with the Gypsophilia. It is only £35 too – a vase would cost more to hire and you would get to keep this. Not On The High Street actually have lots of great wedding stuff, so take a look.

I think Gypsophilia is so pretty for a wedding – what do you think? I quite like the look of loads of it on its own – love the archway and the wreath above.
