Afternoon my delightful lot! I am out and about in London town today – several meetings, a press day and I may squeeze in a tiny bit of shopping too… although please don’t rain as my outfit will not like it!

Heavenly Homes today is all about lanterns. In my last house my living room had a bit of a Moroccan theme to it, with dark wooden furniture and lots of lanterns. I have moved on from the theme in my house, but I do still love my lanterns and think that, within reason, you cannot really have too many! They work well dotted around for small tealights, lining a stairway, a centrepiece on your dinner party table or even a large one fitted as a light – so many options.
