Afternoon all and welcome to the latest In Vogue post. I know its not just me who gets super excited each month when they receive their shiny, glossy bundle of delightfulness that is Vogue magazine!? This feature is snippets and trends that I love from the latest issue and wanted to share.

The latest, May, issue is this Living special with the gorgeous Charlize Theron on the cover – wearing Versace and Jimmy Choos.

Charlize Theron

Vogue go to LA to shoot and interview Charlize for the cover – there is so much I did not know about her! Charlize was born in South Africa and lived there until she was 15 when her drunk father came home wielding a shot gun and was shot by Charlizes mother in self defence!

They then moved to America and Charlize was a ballerina and then a model before becoming the oscar winning actress she is today – she is only 36! She has also just adopted a little boy.

UGG Wedges

Who thought UGG’s were just big comfy soft boots?! Yep, me too! Well it seems they do it all now and I just love these wedges.

The Perfect Sundress

This feature is Laura Bailey taking a nostalgic look at life through the sundress! Of her wish list sundresses she says – “these are dresses that fulfil my dream life, where I sit in a cafe in Capri, juggling pink wine and espressos, with laughing girlfriends… a straw basket on my arm, a camera around my neck… a sundress for spring, and forever.”

How romantic – I like the sound of this Capri life and I love a good sundress – buy one and see it as an investment!

Orange Zest

I have been a fan of orange for ages now – especially with a slightly red tone – and it is set to be a big trend for Summer. I personally would not go for a whole outfit in this colour (although I do have a maxi dress!) but prefer to just wear a top, pashmina or even my jeans in this colour.

My fascination with this colour started a few years ago when I bought these – my favourite Gucci shoes

Carolina Herrera

I totally love this ad for Carolina Herrera and I think all married couples should leave their wedding this way! How fabulous! Gorgeous bags too.

Hipster Belts

Low slung hipster belts are apparently coming back in and we can say good bye to the high waisted variety. I must say I am quite pleased about this as the high waist belts are not the most comfortable!

Sea Coloured Nails

The biggest nail trend from the catwalks are these deep ocean blue and sea green colours… pretty. I have a few in these shades so will have to dig them out!
