Welcome to Delightful
Welcome to my fashion & lifestyle blog. This is an accumulation of all of my delightful finds, as well as a bit about me! Hopefully you will pop back to get your daily dose of delightfulness.
So, what did you think of the Olympic closing ceremony? I thought it was absolutely fantastic! As mentioned before on the blog, I was not that enthralled by the whole Olympics thing being in London but I soon got into the spirit of things and have actually loved it. Team GB did so well and it is great to see us all getting patriotic again after the Jubilee!
I particularly loved the fashion hall of fame catwalk show, done to the soundtrack of David Bowie’s tune “Fashion”. The show featured nine of our best – Kate Moss wore Alexander McQueen, Georgia May Jagger wore Victoria Beckham, Lily Donaldson wore Vivienne Westwood, Stella Tennant wore Christopher Kane, Karen Elson wore Burberry, Lily Cole wore Erdem, Jourdan Dunn wore Jonathan Saunders and Stephen Jones and David Gandy wore Paul Smith.
I was super excited to hear that the Spice Girls were going to be performing at the ceremony! How amazing were the sparkly black cabs?!
Geri stayed true to original style with her updated Union Jack dress whilst Mel C looked like her sporty old self in a simple white jumpsuit! Emma looked cute in a signature style neon pink mini dress and Mel B wore a sequined catsuit by Zuhair Murad. Victoria Beckham’s outfit was my favourite – she looked fab in a creation by Giles Deacon.
Jessie J also performed, wearing Vivienne Westwood, doing laps around the stadium whilst sitting on the back of a convertible Bentley!
What do you think of the ceremony fashion? Who wore your favourite outfit? It has to be Victoria Beckham and Kate Moss for me. What was your favourite part of the ceremony?
Have a lovely Monday and I shall be back soon
xx
