Afternoon and I hope you managed to get your hands on a piece of cake after this mornings post?!

It has to be said that I do have an almost unhealthy attraction to anything that sparkles – jewellery, clothes, shoes, makeup, hair clips/bands, handbags, hand cream, nail varnish, talcum powder, kitchens, home stuff and even food (I have a collection of different coloured edible glitters!) – you get the idea!

As well as the genuine feeling of excitement I get when I see/buy/use/wear sparkly things (I know, I need help!) I also like collecting (pinning on Pinterest mostly!) pretty photos of sparkly things that I love. I cannot be the only one out there that loves to look at sparkly stuff – so I thought I would share some of the pretty photos with you

Don’t get me wrong, I do keep it under control (hehe) and I don’t walk around looking like a big sparkly Christmas tree or anything like that, but I do love it and you can guarantee that my head will always be turned by something sparkly!

We Heart It

I have got a bit of a thing for vintage bicycles – so I just love this sparkly one! When I get my bike (hopefully for Christmas!) I am going to get some battery powered fairy lights to hang around the big basket! It means I will have to go out riding in the dark, which could be dangerous… but needs must!

I do wander what exactly it is about sparkle that attracts me?! The answer is, I really don’t know – but who cares – it makes me happy and brings a sense of calm to proceedings, so that’s all I need to know

Which of the sparkly pics do you like best? I am not sure – don’t think I could choose! Imagine having those nails whilst drinking a sparkly cupped Starbucks, walking in your Louboutins whilst sprinkling sparkly dust over your shoulder as you went – on route to your sparkly vintage bicycle – hehe – yes please!
