Sunday & Me

Nov. 20th

Hello all and I hope you are having a lovely evening? What have you been up to this weekend – anything nice?

I have had a lovely Sunday – starting with a lie in, we idled the morning away before getting into Winchester in time for a pub lunch – before going on to the cinema to watch Twilight, Breaking Dawn. OMG – I loved it! This is no real surprise as I knew I would, but just sad that I have to wait a whole year now for Part 2!

Yesterday I was supposed to be shopping for the Fashion Foie Gras Tote launch party on Tuesday, but as suspected did not really come across the right thing, so I am just going to have to get every item of clothing out of my wardrobe tomorrow and work something out!

All was not lost however as I did get some new black skinny jeans with sparkly sequins down the seam and a pink and black jumper dress from M&S.

After my recent Cape Coats blog post I have been on the look out for the right one and am pleased to say I found it! I am now the proud owner of this beauty from Monsoon – it is black and you can probably just make out from the photo that the hood is lined with leopard print. I am so happy with it and know I will get lots of wear out of it.

Have a lovely evening and I shall be back tomorrow :) xx

Loving… Cape Coats

Nov. 8th

I am really loving cape coats at the moment and have decided it is my mission this weekend to find myself one! So I have just been looking through some ideas and options and thought it may be nice to share my finds with you.

I came across this camel coloured cape on Catch Coco – very chic – perfect for most occasions too I would say.

I also love this darker cape coat (seen on Fox on the Run). I have got a real thing for big collars or necks on coats, jumpers and tops, so I really like this one!

I am also rather liking this hooded military style cape, which is £70 from Asos (via InStyle). It has a bit of country feel to it – perfect for Winchester!

This camel cape is £95 from Topshop (via InStyle). I like this, but probably not quite as chic as the camel cape above? Although it would be warmer!

This Barbour Belina cape is £229 from My-Wardrobe (via InStyle) and is probably one of my favourites – again quite country – so I would fit right in down the local!

This navy duffel style cape is £64.99 from Only, DV8 Fashion. It is more casual than the others, but I still like it – perhaps I need two?!

Which is your favourite, and have you looked online at more ladies coats? I think mine is the 2nd one from the top – the big collar got me!

What do you think? Do you already have one – where is it from?

I am off for now, but have a lovely afternoon and I shall be back in the morrow :) xx
