Cupcake Ice Pops

What a pretty idea for a summer party! These cupcake ice pops were seen over on Shelteriffic and you can see more unique ice pop ideas here.

Clear Ice Cubes

I had not really thought about the clearness of ice cubes before until I saw this! But it is a great idea (via Instructables) – especially for those wanting to put flowers, fruit or herbs in their ice cubes – this looks very pretty and would not work so well in the cloudy ones. Just make your cubes with boiling water!

Shaving Pedestal 

I think this shaving pedestal idea (via Wanelo) is genius! I don’t know about you, but it is a miracle that I have not broken something trying to balance in the shower! I want one!

Morning all. How was your bank holiday weekend – get up to anything exciting? Mine was lovely – a bit of wedding planning work and blogging, but plenty of relaxing too.

Hairband Storage

I have lots of hairbands and they are all plonked in random places at the moment – probably getting damaged. This is therefore perfect for me – what a great idea! Seen on Ruffled Sunshine.

Memory Frame

This is a great idea (via Foursided) for those of us who are a little sentimental! I am not going to lie – I do have a box in my office full of tickets, cards and other random things collected along the way with my husband – although he thinks its junk, I want to keep it! Putting them in a frame like this may be a nice alternative to a box?

Bathroom Cakestand

Who said that bathroom accessories had to be specifically made for the bathroom?! I love this cakestand (via Flickr) used for bathroom bits – pretty.

This is a great idea (via Tumblr) for those with drafty houses with slamming doors! Perhaps you have sleeping babies or jumpy pets – great for them.

Hehe – this is a clever photo (via Pick Chur) and what a lovely outfit a tulip makes!

Pretty your Laundry Room

Like me, this may not be something you have really given much thought, but after seeing these laundry room ideas (on Graphics Fairy) I am definitely doing it – go to their site to print your own labels and just buy some pretty bottles. The branded plastic bottles we buy in the supermarket are ugly, so why not make them pretty?! A simple but clever idea. 

Organise your Fridge

This is genius! I have a food fridge and a drinks fridge in my house – I am always drinking water, so it is full of small bottles and large bottles of it, plus the fizzy drinks and wine, so this is perfect as we do have to do a bit of stacking! Seen on  Pleated Jeans.

Vintage Suitcase Shelves

I have blogged about vintage suitcases and what can be done with them several times before, but came across this new one recently (on Recyclart) and had to share – what a fab idea!

Tattooed Easter Eggs

I like to think that I am quite a creative person, but when it comes to drawing/painting – I am no artist! So I think this thought of using temporary tattoos (seen on Country Living) on eggs is such a clever idea.

Colour Card Easter Garland

Not everyone bothers with Easter decorations, but I usually have a few bits and pieces and think these colour card garlands (seen on At Home) are a fab idea. You can pick these paint colour chart cards up at most hardware stores.

Bunny Bread Basket

Hehe – I love this bunny bread basket – seen on Mixing Bowl - and what better for Easter week?! Great for kids, and for big kids like me!

Vintage Suitcase Drinks Cabinet

I love vintage suitcases, whether for decoration, storage or travel and I think this drinks cabinet (seen on Deb Holien) is fab! Would be a great talking point at a party! 

Storing Linen

Storing each duvet set in one of its pillow cases is something that I only discovered last year! Perhaps I am slightly behind on this, but it has changed my airing cupboard forever! I saw this photo on The Daily Buzz and thought I would share – just in case anyone else has not heard of it! So clever!

Heart Shaped Eggs

I love this easy tutorial on how to make your boiled eggs into a heart shapes (seen on The Daily Buzz) – so clever!

Heart Shaped Oreo’s

What an amazing idea (seen on Bakerella) is this?! I have in previous years made Nigella’s heart shaped custard creams for my hubby on Valentines Day, but I am so busy at the moment this is the perfect solution – all’s I need is some Oreo’s (which he loves) and a heart cutter (which I have)!

Nail Varnish Holder

I don’t know about you but I do struggle to hold my nail varnish whilst painting – it is usually trapped between my knees or balancing between spare fingers – dangerous! I definitely need one of these – seen on Fresh Finds. You can get one on Amazon for £1.79 – bargain!

Bicycle Wine Carrier

I like this bicycle wine carrier (seen on Design Sponge) a lot! Although it may not work on my ladies vintage bicycle (which I hope to get very soon), it would be great for my hubby – who was actually talking about a new bike at the weekend. I suppose you could put water in it when you weren’t carrying wine? Although I think wine is better!

Birthday Reminder

This birthday reminder sign (seen on I Heart Nap Time) really is clever – with all your important birthdays in order to let you know who is next. We have all forgotten someone’s birthday at some point – but it would be much harder to forget if you have one of these. If you are going to bother – just make sure it is well placed, otherwise you may forget to look at it!

Bra Strap Clips

I love these bra strap clips (seen on Etsy) – what a great idea! I have so many tops that I have to constantly pull up and adjust – it can put you off wearing things sometimes. Definitely a good investment!

Wall Painted Bicycles

This is a really pretty idea (seen on Gabba Gabba Gorgeous) and you could paint the bikes in all sort of styles and colours to suit your room – as well as changing the basket and contents. I like the flowers, but you could also use them for general storage – bigger baskets would work too.

Morning all. Is it just me enjoying this cold weather?! I love it and am actually a bit disappointed that it is getting warmer today – we have had such a boring mild winter, I would be happy with a bit of snow!

Light Bulb Vase

This light bulb vase idea looks so pretty (seen on Gypsy Mess) – a very unique and cost effective way of displaying flower heads.

Tea Cup Bird Feeders

I love these vintage tea cups which have been set up to feed the birds (seen on Something Wonderful) – this is just done with fence poles, although you could use any pole that would work. Pretty and clever! Did you see my recent bird post – Look After Your Garden Birds?

Basket Storage 

I think this is a great idea (seen on Hammers & High Heels) – bathrooms can often be short on space and storage, so using space to hang a basket would certainly solve that.

Afternoon all. It is back to normal for most of us today after time away – and I hope your first day back is going smoothly so far?! Did you see my New Year, New Dreams post this morning? Just a few thoughts on what I want to improve on this year.

Herb Scissors 

OMG these are genius! I hate chopping herbs and after recently seeing craft Queen Kirstie Allsopp using them on TV I have wanted some. These ones are from Cox & Cox and cost £13.50. You can also get them on Amazon for £4.99.

Charging Storage

This is a great idea (seen on Canned by Anique) – especially if you have a clumsy ass husband like I do, who likes to stand on charging items left on the floor! Looks pretty too.

Ribbon Storage 

I love this idea (from Martha Stewart) so clever and so simple. I have so much ribbon – must try and get around to doing this – would really brighten up a shelf too with a pretty row of ribbon boxes.
