Happy St Georges Day (& International Day of the Book) my Delightful lot

April 23rd has been St George’s Day since 1222 and later on in the year 1348 – St George became the Patron Saint of England.

Did you know that 23 April is also International Day of the Book?! This is because William Shakespeare died on 23 April 1616 and UNESCO marked this historic date by declaring it so in 1995.
