Gym Wear Inspiration
There is nothing like a bit of trauma in ones life to kick start you into doing something. It could be anything, but for me it has been losing weight and going to the gym. I am not obese but I have needed to lose a few pounds and just to generally feel fitter for a good while, and I am now well on my way.
I am not going to lie, I hate every single second – literally! But I do feel glad that I have done it once it is all over for another day! Unfortunately, the saying really is true – no pain, no gain!
My new motto via Chinook Country Chick
I have been doing a bit of gym wear shopping recently and I will admit – have got a bit carried away! So I am not the only one, I am going to share a few of my favourites with you!
Proskins
This first selection is from Proskins and are a must for any gym goer. The fabric is made up of cosmetic ingredients (including caffeine, aloe vera, vitamin E, retinol and ceramides) and each ingredient has “special properties that help you look and feel better, lose inches, soften your skin and reduce cellulite.”
1 – Proskins long sleeve top £55, 2 – Proskins Capri leggings £45, 3 – Proskins short sleeve top £29.95, 4 – Proskins shorts £35, 5 – Proskins leggings £34.96
Stella McCartney
Since designing the British Olympic athletes gear for London 2012, Stella McCartney has designed some other gorgeous stuff, more appropriate for us non Olympic athletes – available at Harrods online and in store! I am a big Stella fan anyway, so love that I can be trotting off to the gym dressed head to toe in one of my favourite designers
1 – Stella vest top £50, 2 – Stella Adidas trainers £49.95, 3 – Stella short leggings £44.95, 4 – Stella hooded top £55, 5 – Stella leggings £44.95
Nike
Nike is always a trusted favourite with me – it looks good and it does what it is supposed to do. I love the running dress they have out at the moment too (top left below) – very cool, although very short too!
1 – Running dress £45, 2 – Zip Top £58, 3 – Trainers £80, 4 – Vest top £30, 5 – Capri leggings £32
What do you think – does this make you want to go to the gym? Or go mad and buy lots of cool gym gear like me?! I love all of these and think a selection of each is the only way!
Have a fab Friday and I shall be back soon

Shoes, shoes, shoes!

Too Cute
Morning all, how was your weekend? Not sure about you but we actually saw some sunshine over the weekend! It was great, but my wardrobe is all confused at the moment – months of rain, boring temperatures and the odd bit of sun – what is a girl to wear?!
Whilst I consider this question for a new blog post, lets have a bit of Monday morning cuteness in the meantime.
Hehe – anyone else feel like this today?! Well hopefully this bit of cuteness will help.
Have a lovely morning and I shall be back soon
