Patternista are purveyors of decorative textiles and owner and designer Becky Lim has just launched her fab kitchen textiles range “Walk on the Wildside”.
The pretty range is inspired by the flora and fauna of the Suffolk heritage coast, and each 100% cotton tea towel has been designed using original paper-cuts, doodles and photographs – which I just love!
Becky says “I have always been a bit of day dreamer and can get lost by just looking at the shapes, textures and form of the hedgerows and wildflowers close to home. I love the silhouettes created by Cows Parsley and Alliums against a brooding sky. This imagery has been the basis for creating the “Walk on the Wildside” range”.
I really like all four, but probably the two with the birds the most. I think they look great as a set and would maybe just display them on some hooks, like in the pic above!
Or you could even display one in a frame, as shown below. They are works of art after all.
What do you think? Aren’t they pretty! I think I would like the pink and/or the sky blue ones 🙂 xx
