Morning all and Happy Wedding Wednesday! I mentioned I was working (wedding planning) on a wedding at Highcliffe Castle a few weekends ago and I just wanted to share a few of my Instagram pics with you. I will be posting the proper photographer images once received, but this is just a little taster in the meantime!

It is a Castle, so the building itself was obviously amazing. It is now Council owned and that is unfortunately evident in several areas, but it did not take away from the day and we just made sure we covered up any ugly health & safety Council signs!

We had a calligrapher write the table plan onto a big mirror, which we sourced to match the Castle look and feel. It also means that the couple have a new mirror for their house after the wedding.

This is the entrance to the Great Hall inside the Castle and the original columns and top part were just beautiful. Gorgeous flowers too from Emma Lappin Flowers.

We went for a Choccywoccydoodah wedding cake – they make such works of art that it was a real feature sitting in the entrance hall!

The Drawing Room in the Castle was set up for the evening band – with a pretty white LED dance floor and fairy light backdrop.
